Effortless solutions for windows and doors

Your garage is the biggest entrance to your house.

But often, it is the least secure.

You often see a property where the windows and front door are new, but the garage door is 20 years old.

These older doors are usually single-skin and rely on one latch at the top. Compared to a modern composite door, that is a weak point. We often see that the top latches can be forced quite easily, giving direct access to your tools, your car, or the internal door to your home.

It is a weakness you don’t need to have.

Why Modern Doors are Harder to Breach

When we replace an old door with a modern Sectional or Roller door, the security upgrade is immediate. It’s not just about the lock; it’s about the mechanics.

No Leverage Points: Sectional doors fit behind the brickwork (the reveal). There is no gap for a crowbar to slide into.

Motor Locking: On an electric roller door, the motor itself acts as the lock. When the door is down, the gearing holds it rigid. You can’t just force it up from the bottom like you can with a manual door.

The Rockdoor Standard

We are a Rockdoor Trusted Installer.

If you know the trade, you know Rockdoor is the benchmark for front doors. They are built to be practically unbreakable. We bring that same mindset to your garage.

If you wouldn’t protect your hallway with a thin sheet of aluminium, you shouldn’t protect your garage with one either. We only supply garage doors that meet a proper standard of resistance.

Smart Operation

Most of the electric motors we fit now have smart options. It means you can open the door from your mobile.

It’s useful for deliveries. If you aren’t home, you can open the door for a driver and close it again from your phone. It solves the problem of missed parcels.

Check Your Security

Go outside and look at your garage door. If it’s rattling in the frame or the lock looks loose, it needs looking at.

We can tell you pretty quickly what can be saved and what needs replacing.
