Effortless solutions for windows and doors

People spend three grand on a heavy new front door.

They assume the house is secure. They are usually wrong.

The 15-Second Break-In

Burglars rarely smash glass anymore. It makes too much noise.

They target the lock cylinder instead.

A standard euro-cylinder takes fifteen seconds to snap. They use basic mole grips. They snap the handle off, snap the metal barrel in half, and walk straight in.

The Builder Trick

We see this all the time on new extensions.

A builder installs a premium composite or aluminium door. Then they try to save fifty quid on the hardware. They fit a basic £10 lock cylinder.

That cheap lock completely bypasses the expensive multi-point hooks and bolts running up the edge of the door. The heavy door is now useless.

The 3-Star Upgrade

You need a 3-Star Diamond rated cylinder. We fit Ultion locks.

These are engineered specifically against brute force attacks. They have a solid molybdenum core. You cannot snap them with hand tools.

Lockdown Mode

A burglar attacks a 3-Star lock with grips.

The lock physically detects the snapping pressure. A hidden firing pin engages immediately. The central core locks down completely solid.

It traps the burglar’s tools right inside the metal. The mechanism jams up. The door stays shut. The burglar gives up and leaves.

Check Your Barrel

Look at your front door lock today. Check the metal face of the cylinder outside.

Look for three stars stamped into the metal. Zero stars means a cheap lock.

Come down to 78 Alma Road. We have standard locks and Ultion locks cut in half on the trade counter. Look at the internal metal for yourself or give us a call on 01202 533126.
